DriftHangout is built for the drift community. These guidelines keep the platform welcoming, trustworthy, and safe.
Respect
- Treat all community members with respect
- No harassment, bullying, threats, or intimidation
- No discrimination on grounds of race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
- Constructive criticism of events and organizers is welcome; personal attacks are not
Honesty
- Event listings must accurately represent the event
- Reviews and ratings must reflect genuine experiences
- No fake accounts, fake reviews, or inflated ratings
- Do not misrepresent your identity, vehicle, or qualifications
Safety
- Do not promote illegal street racing or unlicensed road activity
- All events listed must be at venues where the activity is permitted
- Do not share location data of private/unauthorized venues
- Report unsafe events or behavior to us immediately
- Follow event-specific safety rules set by organizers
Content
- No explicit, violent, or illegal content
- No copyright-infringing content
- Vehicle photos must be of your own vehicle
- No spam, self-promotion, or commercial solicitation outside designated vendor areas
Consequences
- Warning for first-time minor violations
- Temporary suspension (7–30 days) for repeated or moderate violations
- Permanent ban for severe violations (threats, fraud, illegal activity)
- Organizer status revoked for listing fraudulent events
- Appeals: email community@drifthangout.com within 14 days of action
